ImmuNET

The purpose of the program is to implement, operate, and maintain a computerized immunization tracking and recall system for providers in Douglas County and the State of Nebraska.  The ultimate goal of the project is to make the system available to all immunization providers, which will enhance the ability of the community to assure age appropriate immunization levels and thereby reduce the risk of vaccine-preventable diseases.

The system is currently in use by public immunization clinics in Nebraska.  Over four million immunizations, administered to nearly 400,000 children served by the public clinics since 1993, are entered into the system.
