March is National Colon Cancer Awareness Month
    Nebraskans 50 and older may qualify for a free colon cancer screening under a program announced today by the American Cancer Society and the Great Plans Colon Cancer Task Force.

    Men and women who meet income guidelines may qualify for a free blood test kid for home testing, a colonoscopy, and information about healthy living.

    Colon cancer is the third most common cancer in men and women. It is the nation’s second leading cancer killer, but colon cancer is highly treatable and possibly curable if caught early.
